The personal information we might collect from you includes your name, email address and postal address. It may also include information regarding what website pages are accessed and when.
As part of a scheme provided by your local authority you may also provide sustainability information including which materials you have recycled etc. We will make it clear to you what information you can provide to us and it is your decision whether or not to do so.
We may use your information to:
• Administer the scheme, including sending weekly reminder emails requesting your participation data;
• Your first name, initial, surname and points total may be shown across the platform, including on the leader board, activity feed (optional), galleries, winners list and other locations.
• Seek your views or comments on the services we provide;• Deal with entries into a competition;
• Send you updates about sustainability news and innovation;
• Notify you of changes to our services;
We believe that these forms of communication are an intrinsic part of ensuring that your engagement in the scheme works efficiently and that we can communicate to you on your activity in the scheme and any rewards that you have earned.
Having considered this, we therefore believe that this is a legitimate interest to communicate with you in this manner and such interest is genuinely not overridden by your fundamental rights as a data subject.
You may opt-out of any email communications by using the ‘unsubscribe’ link within each email, via the 'My Account' area, contacting us at [email protected] or by calling us on 0207 326 5055. Please be aware that unsubscribing from the weekly reminder email may reduce your ability to effectively participate in the programme.
We will hold your personal information on our systems for the duration of the contract that your local authority has negotiated with us. At the end of any such contract, the data will be passed to your local authority for the purpose of integration with a replacement programme.
In order to process voucher requests we may share your order details, including name and postal address, with our suppliers so that your order can be fulfilled.
As part of the administration of the programme your details, including name and email address, may be passed onto Camden Council so that they can contact you directly with regards to Camden Eco Points. Your details will not be shared with any other parties nor be used to contact you for any other reason, without your prior consent.
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you. We will aim to process your request as quickly as we can and at the latest within 14 days of receiving the request. We will provide the information to you by SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol).
